Dash,
I'm listening to Rina's Eyes with tears in mine.  I had no idea.  I can barely express how honored I am to be associated with you.  I just had no idea, all the many times I've watched and listened to you play on stages over the years,  that YOU were YOU when I asked you to be involved in Custom Wedding Songs.com!   After visiting your site, my GOd(!), I just can't believe how lucky/blessed/fortunate I am to have you work with us.  THANK YOU!  ...for all your incredible music.  You're just The Best.
Happy 09 indeed!  kath

Hey Dash,
I love the website and it's great to see all the truly talented players you have assembled over the past years. It also brings back great memories of playing with the Cookin with Mr. Dash group. You are and always will be one of my favorite all time musicians to gig with and I'm honored and priviledged to have you as a friend. Happy Holidays,  Bill Vallaire

Dash,
I always considered it a treat to get to play music with you.  And an honor to call you my friend.  It's a very cool thing to have the Mr. Dash group represented here. I do remember the guy at the fair being upset that when he planned his day around seeing our performance, he found we weren't a cooking demonstration.  More music to follow I would hope.
Cheers,
Pete Rose (...yes, THAT one)

We miss you and Dino. Sorry we dropped out for a while but would like to catch up with you two again. GInger talks about this a lot.

David, what it means is that you were kidding yourself when you said you were an ex-jazz musician! Jazz musicians may stop performing, but the music always lives inside them. Welcome to the club...

Mr. Kempton:

One of my favorite quotes for fellow jazz musicians is from you: when we first met back back in the Monterey Penninsula College electronics program thirty-some years ago, I told you that I was an "ex-jazz musician", and you said, "If you're an ex-jazz musician, you never were a jazz musician."  So now I'm that I'm playing the music again, that must make me an "ex-ex-jazz musician"...so was I / am I / will I ever be a jazz musician?  Who knows?
